Communities in Schools: Who We Are PDF Print E-mail

Communities In Schools (CIS) is the nation’s leading community-based organization helping kids succeed in school and prepare for life.  What makes CIS unique is how we identify specific campus needs and collaborate with schools and their communities to deliver programs and services.  Where CIS is found, what follows is an increase in school completion rates, a decrease in disruption and violence, and an increase in attendance and academic achievement.

The Performance Learning Center is a National initiative of national Communities In Schools with support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
