Referrals for the PLC are made by high school counselors. The application form is available in high school counseling departments. An online test to measure students’ reading and math skills is required, along with an interview with the student and his/her parent/guardian. |

- Tenth, 11th or 12th grade students are eligible.
- Applicants must have been enrolled in a DPS high school within the last year and have experienced at least one full year of high school.
- Academically, students must have passed the eighth-grade mathematics and reading end-of-grade tests and both parts of the computer skills competency test.
- Students must read on at least the eighth-grade level.
- Students must be in good behavior standing at their current school and must be highly motivated to graduate from high school.
